Store owner, Terry Mulkerns is encouraging as many local people as possible to call in and support the event, “We are really looking forward to hosting a family fun day in store next Saturday and welcoming as many local people as possible through our doors to enjoy family entertainment and top country music.”

“Playing an active role in our local community is so important to the whole team here at Mulkerns. We really value the support of our customers so it’s nice to be able to give something back and thank them for their loyalty over the years. I hope everyone will don their best jiving shoes and come along to enjoy the fun.”

The store has recently installed a public access Automated External Defibrillator, following successful fundraising efforts by the whole community to provide the equipment which can be life-saving in the event of an emergency.

As well as supporting local sports teams and assisting community groups the store has also been involved in fundraising for Cancer Fund for Children and hosted a coffee morning, bringing customers closer together while also supporting a great local cause.
