A windswept day for the Ring of Gullion Cairn Hike to the top of Slieve Gullion for the (almost) Winter Solstice. An absolute beautiful stroll going up and coming down and the rain kept away too.
A large crowd ascended the mountain hoping for the sun to put in an appearance and shine it's rays all the way into the burial chamber but it wasn't to be this time.
