St Catherine's Dominican church yesterday held the 11th annual Newry Musical Feis Organ Competition. This years  prize-winning candidates, all are students of St Colman's College, Newry.

First prize-winner of the Junior Class was Daire Downey (2nd left) along with Silver medal winner, Terry Rafferty (extreme right) and Bronze medal winner Harry McMahon (extreme left).

Eoin Cassidy (pictured with cup) won the Intermediate Class and was awarded performance opportunities (recitals) in St Peter's cathedral Belfast, St Anne's cathedral Belfast and St Patrick's cathedral Armagh.

The Feis' Organ Competition is one of only 3 Feisanna-based organ competitions in Ireland and is unique in offering its first prize-winner multiple invaluable performance opportunities in high-profile venues.
