From 3 June Translink's Goldline Service 238 will stop at the Sheepbridge Park and Ride facility.

A number of timetable changes are being made to the Goldline Express 238 service from Newry and Banbridge to Belfast.

From Monday 3rd June 2019, stops at Sheepbridge Park and Ride and the new Park and Ride at Rathfriland Road, Banbridge will be included on the route.

Peak time 238b services will no longer stop in Dromore or Hillsborough, due to the introduction of Urby services from those towns during the busiest morning and evening periods.  However, all off peak 238 services will continue to serve them.

Translink Bus Services Southern Area Manager Arthur Hamilton said: “The 238 service has seen significant passenger growth in the last year, with over 24 thousand additional customers choosing a stress-free daily commute.

“We want to build on this growth by continuing to offer our passengers a high quality express service from Newry to Belfast. The addition of two new stops on this route gives more people the option of leaving their car and using public transport, helping many customers to find time for a more active and healthy lifestyle”.

Arthur concluded, “Our Goldline services also allow customers to benefit from more ‘me time’, whether it is reading on board or catching up with social media or emails using our free on-board wi-fi”.

The new timetable for the 238 Goldline Express from Newry and Banbridge to Belfast begins on Monday, 3rd June. Full details are available on the Translink website: www.translink.co.uk/
