Tonight is your last chance to vote for Newry's Sticky Fingers Arts and their Imaginarium Arts and Story Centre

Voting closing at midnight tonight, 21 August in the 25th Birthday National Lottery Awards

Their Imaginarium Arts and Story Centre is competing to for the title the National Lottery’s Best Art, Culture and Film project. They are among 40 organisations battling it out in this year’s awards which celebrate the inspirational people and projects who do extraordinary things with the help of National Lottery funding.

National Lottery funding from Arts Council Northern Ireland was integral to setting up the project which hosts arts programmes for babies up to teenagers of 17. The centre which opened in 2018 is the only dedicated arts space for children and young people in Northern Ireland.

The winners will be revealed in the next few weeks.

Jonathan Tuchner, from the 25th Birthday National Lottery Awards, said: “National Lottery players should be extremely proud to have supported the fantastic work this project delivers in their community.

“The teams behind all our finalists are wonderful ambassadors for their organisations and they do so much to improve and enhance the lives of so many. In many ways, they are all winners but only the projects with most votes can get their hands on a 25th Birthday National Lottery Award.

“Voting closes at midnight on 21 August – so please support your favourite by voting for them as soon as possible – it could make a real difference to your chosen project.”

The project with the most votes will be crowned the winner and receive a £10,000 cash prize to spend on their project, an iconic 25th Birthday National Lottery Awards trophy and attend a star-studded glittering awards ceremony to be broadcast on BBC One in November.
