Alexandra StanThe headline act for the Newphonic Concert Alexandra Stan has pulled out of the Concert leaving the organisers with a last minute headache.

Despite this Newphonic will go ahead with the promoters deciding to make the concert a totally FREE event with a revised line up for the day and Britain's Got Talent's  Jordan O'Keeffe to headline!

They will offer full refunds on any purchased tickets post event. Event organisers stress that your tickets are still valid for the event!

Hold onto tickets as proof of purchase and return them to your original point of sale after the event for a full refund.

Free tickets for the concert can be claimed from participating retailers and are limited to while stocks last.

Taking to stage are acts like Starboy Nathan bringing a mix of international R&B to Newphonic this year. ‘Hangover’ and ‘Who am I’ are previous releases with Starboy Nathan producing his album ‘3D: Dedication, Determination, Desire’ in 2011 his talent had previously impressed The X Factor judges. Charlie Brown, becoming 2013s someone to watch with ‘On My Way’ released this year has created a buzz of celeb appeal.

Fresh from the Eurovision finals Ryan Dolan with Zenemy DJs will perform his entry and talented Britain’s Got Talent finalist Jordan O’Keefe joins Newry to celebrate with a live performance! Northern Ireland’s own DJ Hix from Cool FM will entertain the crowds with a mixture of his tracks. This fantastic set is presented by Gareth Stewart and organised by MaMa Concert Entertainment Ltd.

Rory Rafferty, Event Manager at MaMa Concert Entertainment Ltd said, "We are disappointed to announce that Alexandra Stan is unable to perform on Saturday due to injuries sustained last week. Our thoughts are with the singer at this difficult time."

"Newphonic will be going ahead with tickets now free of charge for our event. Unfortunately these are circumstances out of our control but we have made the decision to refund tickets already purchased, encouraging others to come along and enjoy the rest of our line up for 2013!"

The first annual Newphonic festival takes place on the 29th of June 2013 in McClelland Park, Lower Catherine Street, Newry with gates opening 4.30pm. Tickets are now free for Newphonic and those already holding tickets and attending the event will be reimbursed thereafter.
