The early hours of tomorrow morning will see a Darkness Into Light walk at Derramor Forest in aid of PIPS Hope & Support and Pieta House.

The ‘Let’s Share One Sunrise Together’ walk tomorrow Saturday 8th May will begin at 5:15am with sunrise around 5.35am.

The Walk commences at the Derrymore Road entrance to the Forest Park (Facing St Peters School)

Limited  Parking is available inside the Forest Grounds. Access through Camlough Road entrance only and Exit through the Derrymore Road entrance. Motorists please watch out for pedestrians, drive slowly and with care.

There is parking also at St Peters Primary School and also along the Derrymore Road/Camlough Road. Please park your car sensibly and safely

 The Forest Pathway goes around the entire Forest Wall finishing back at the Derrymore Road Entrance. Stewards wil be on hand to direct/assist

 Please have appropriate dress wear for this 5k Forest Walk as there is a strong possibility of rain.Take a small torch if you feel it is needed. We expect Sunrise at 5:35am

 All monies raised go to Pieta House and PIPS Hope & Support. Donations can be made to collectors on the morning of the walk 

Covid notes 

Organisers would ask that all  current Covid Legislation on social distancing is adhered to. 

 This is National Trust Property and organisers thank the Trust and its staff for their support and ask all participants to respect the environment and the rules of the Trust regarding the Derramor Forest.
