Under 12.5 League

Our U12.5s  played out a superb match on Thursday night against Derrynoose at sunny Craobh Rua. From their performance there are sure signs this young group of hurlers are making steady progress. Aaron Lonergan steadied the team from the goalkeeping position and later came out to play in defence showing great leadership.

In defence his brother Ciaron alongside Ryan McGuinness, Jack Bradley and Dathai Murphy all battled very well and provided the forwards with plenty of ball.

The mid field trio of Shea Loughran, Oran Campbell and Tomas Mc Cann eventually wore down the opposition from the ‘Noose with their lively play and their attacking abilities were then showcased. In forwards we had Mel Connolly, Shea Cunningham, Eoin Mc Eldowney, Cathal Mc Keown and  debutant Conor Devlin who worked together really well and created lots of scoring opportunities with the team scoring total of 3-11.

Next up is Thursday match away v Portadown.
