The run will follow a route of approximately one mile in the city centre and is suitable for all the family. There will be red and green colour stations on the route with gold and silver glitter available to buy for extra festive sparkle.

This event is an opportunity for families, schools, community clubs and businesses to all get involved.  It is being organised in conjunction with Newry Chamber Christmas Charity Dinner and all money raised will be presented to the 23 charities on Thursday the 1st December at the Christmas Charity Dinner.

Gemma Murphy, Organising Committee said, “We ran Newry’s first Colour Run earlier in the year which was a fantastic success with 1400 people taking part. When we started planning the Christmas Santa Run we thought it would be great fun to make it a colour run to get more people and even more charities involved. We would like to thank all our sponsors who have supported this event. We could not have done it without them.

“We are asking people to come in their Santa jumpers, Santa suits or anything festive to get into the spirit. There will be lots of entertainment and fun on the night. There are different packages available for businesses, groups, families and individuals. To register please log onto www.crashservices.com/colourrun
