Colin Bell has made a donation of £5000 on behalf of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, an organisation that knows only too well the costs and procedures that bereaved families encounter when loved ones die far away from home.

Giselle and daughter Allison hailed from Colombia and in a statement released by the PSNI the family have thanked the people of Newry for the kindness shown to them at this very sad time.

They also have thanked all who have made donations to help them in their hour of need and have called for the media to respect their privacy.
