In total there will be 21 venues across the City hosting sessions, including Grounded and Blue Print Pizza. Local businesses are looking forward to the celebrations with one manager saying “last year’s TradFest was a great success and it’s good to see people coming out and enjoying the music, there was a great atmosphere all weekend across the City”.

Artists lined up include Pol Mc Adaim, Ruari Cunnane, as well as members from the popular Trad Band Raglan to name but a few.

Petey Doran from Raglan said “TradFest is a fantastic weekend of music, song and dance where many celebrate our Irish Tradition and heritage over three days in Newry City, this TradFest weekend will only grow from strength to strength”.

The sessions are widespread across the City Centre including both day and night time slots so that everyone will get a chance to enjoy the fantastic line up of talented Trad musicians.
