Newry 3's 3-1 South Antrim 3's

Newry hosted South Antrim on Saturday and carried on their recent good run of form with another home win. Jonny McWilliams opened the scoring early in the first half with a well placed short corner. Newry could not add to this lead as they dominated possession for large parts of the half.

Soon after the restart South Antrim made Newry pay as they got back on level terms, only for the home side to respond quickly through another Jonny McWillaims short corner. The away side did not give up and had a goal disallowed before Newry put the game to bed When David Sterritt popped up in the box and a scuffed effort managed to find its way into the Antrim goal.
