Bean to bar craft chocolate makers Neary Nógs called in to Our Lady's Grammar School in Newry last week to give the junior students an insight into how they make their chocolate in their factory outside Kilkeel.
Shane and Peter from Neary Nógs spoke on all the steps of chocolate making from harvesting the fruit all the way to the finished delicious chocolate.
The pair also chose the winner of the school's 'Design a Flavour' competition. Winners on the day were J1C, who submitted the winning combination - Strawberry and Elderflower. Keep an eye out for these bars, which will be on sale in the lead up to the school's November 2024 production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
