Appeal Issued After two vehicles taken in Mullaghbawn burglary

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in the Mullaghbawn area over the weekend.

Detective Sergeant Lewis said: "Police received a report that sometime overnight between Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March access was gained to a house in the Newry Road area."

Keys were taken from within the property, with two vehicles subsequently stolen from outside. DS Lewis continued: "Keys were taken from within the property and two vehicles, a silver coloured Toyota Avensis and a white Volkswagen Caddy van were stolen from outside."

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, or who has CCTV or other footage that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact police. DS Lewis said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 310 28/03/26."
