A planning application has been submitted for 176 new houses at Watson's Road in Newry.
The homes would be a mix of 2,3 and 4 bedroom. 164 would be for market housing while 12 are planned to be for social housing.
The proposal submitted by Loftus Homes is for a residential housing development of 176 dwellings, including sunrooms and garages, landscaping and open space on lands at Watson's Road/ Dorans Hill and lands to the east of Watson's Road.
The road infrastructure would be upgraded to include re-alignment of Doran's Hill & Watson's Road with proposed new roundabout and all associated site and access works
A change of house type & mix were approved under a previous planning application ref: P/2013/0242/F
