The Southern Health and Social Care Trust Autism Services recently hosted their Annual Christmas Formal at Armagh City Hotel with 160 service users and family members in attendance.
The evening showcased innovative and creative ways the young people from the service are raising awareness of ASD.

The Deputy Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Mr Sam Nicholson, was also in attendance to show his ongoing commitment on behalf of the council to promote awareness of ASD within the community.
Denise Carroll, Autism Services Co-ordinator for the Southern Trust says “Last year we hosted our first Christmas formal, it was such a success that we agreed we would hold one this year again. Our young people inspire us each and every day and we are completely blown away by the talent that was showcased at the Formal.
Thank you to everyone who attended the event and to those who helped out before and after the formal, it is greatly appreciated and would not have been as much of a success without all of your support.”
