Write a commentA beautiful bright autumn day today, Saturday 20th October saw more than 30 young and not so young members of the Ballynacraig Community Association getting their shoes on and gather at the Pointside Garage, Old Warrenpoint Rd to begin a sponsored walk.
The walk was staged as a fundraiser for ‘Ellen’s Journey’ joining in with many others in Newry and District who have rallied together to help this brave wee girl!
In just a short space of time the community raised a total of £500.
The event culminated in a refreshments and socialising including the best caramel squares in all of Newry from Mrs McElroy on the Old Warrenpoint Rd!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so great.
