Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Bessbrook which left some residents without electrictiy for a time.
The collision was in the Mill Road area of Bessbrook on Thursday night, 13 February.
Speaking about the incident Constable Quigley said: “It was reported that, at around 8.20pm, a black Volkswagen Golf being driven in the area collided with a stone wall and an electricity pole, causing considerable damage and leaving local residents temporarily without electricity.
"The driver left the scene before police arrived."
Police are appealing to anyone with information, who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1840 of 13/02/20.
