Chairperson Gillian Fitzpatrick said, “I am delighted that Mrs McCaughey and her talented pupils will perform their award winning song to start our Gala Evening in such a magical way. Many of us watched with awe as the Choir astounded the Britain’s Got Talent judges and I am so excited and honoured that they have agreed to sing for me at the start of the Ball”.
The choir got four yes's from the judging panel when they performed Somewhere Only We Know by Keane.
