The online 'Big Nerd Pub Quiz' is only a month old and already the YouTube Channel has almost 4000 subscribers. It's proving so popular that there are now up to four being held a week. The next one is tonight, Wednesday at 8pm.
The brains behind the operation Mark Hughes from Rostrevor explains how the quizzes have expanded "I’m doing up to four quizzes a week now; two general knowledge quizzes every Wednesday and Saturday, a specialist quiz on Monday and a kids quiz on Tuesday at 2pm."
With most people confined to their homes at present it's a perfect distraction from the COVID-19 crisis.
Of course May the Fourth on Monday coming could not pass by without a Star Wars quiz and Mark is looking forward to hosting what will be his second Star Wars themed competition. This week Game of Thrones also proved a popular choice last Monday night.
The quiz has already had YouTube channel views in excess of 90k views in the past four weeks!
To enter the Quiz you just need to click Big Nerd Pub Quiz Channel on YouTube. Once on the page, you will find a link to a Google document where you can answer the questions. It's multiple choice so even if you don't know the answer there is always the possibility of you striking it lucky! Make sure you subscribe to the channel too.
All the competitions starts at 8pm apart from the childrens Tuesday quiz which starts at 2pm. You can sign in a little earlier though.
