A boat has sunk over the weekend at the Albert Basin in Newry.
The vessel had been moored outside The Quays Shopping Centre for some time and following the incident only the mast and the top of the cabin remain visible above the water.
The area along the quayside around the boat has been cordoned off and a containment boom has been placed in the water around the vessel to try to prevent any potential oil leakage.
