Translink is set to carry out essential engineering works across the rail network this January and February. The major track improvement works will be carried out this weekend 14 and 15 January and to facilitate the works there will be bus substitutions in place with some minor alterations to the timetable.
The Portadown line will see line closure between Great Victoria Street and Portadown
- A bus substitution will operate between Great Victoria Street and Portadown
- Newry – limited bus substitutions services which extend to/from Newry will operate
- NI Railway ticket will be valid for use on Ulsterbus and Metro schedule services
The Enterprise service will see bus substitutions between Belfast and Newry.
- Line closure between Belfast Lanyon Place and Portadown
- Bus substitution services will operate from Belfast Lanyon Place to Newry
- Normal train services operate between Portadown and Dublin Connolly
- Return trains from Dublin connect with bus substitution services at Newry for Belfast Lanyon place
- Passengers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes on arrival at Belfast Lanyon Place.
- Normal services between Bangor and Belfast
