Write a commentLast weekend's Buttercrane’s Annual International Buttermilk Drinking Challenge saw quite a few people competing for the prize of a £50 Buttercrane Gift Voucher. It was part of the fifth Iúr Cinn Fleadh and captured the imagination of many would be competitors, although, most wre happy just to take a sip.
To enter you had to drink a pint of Buttermilk with the winner being the one who could drink it the quickest.
While some took almost 20 seconds to drink the pint, the winner managed his pint in a record time of 4.03 seconds.
Winner on the day was Newry lad Jordan who received his prize from Buttercrane Operations Manager, James Loughran and Buttercrane helper Brid.
