Only One Direction was in the mind today and tonight for Newry's teens of a certain age … and that was to head for Carlin Records where the queue for tickets for the One Direction Concert in Croke Park NEXT YEAR began at seven this morning and has since grown dramatically.
The 'Where we Are' tour takes in Ireland, the UK and Latin America so far but no doubt will expand dramatically as further dates are announced around the planet as Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis take to the road.

A second Gig in Croke Park wouldn't be beyond the bounds of possibility judging by the interest in the first gig and sure Croke Park only holds just over 80,000 people!!!
Carlins tonight at 11pm resembled a festival site with deck chairs, sleeping bags … and One Direction pillows of course stretching for a considerable length down Hill Street/ John Mitchell Place but the sense of fun was everywhere.
1D, the Band of the moment will most likely play to a sell out concert at Croke Park in a years time from when the tickets go on sale, the 24th of May 2014.
Tickets are on sale from 10am tomorrow morning at Carlins on Hill Street in Newry and judging by the crowd of nearly a hundred there already it won't be long before they sell out - and who's the favourite from the band - Niall of course!
