Several hundred people came through the doors of the beautiful 2,500 sq ft facility. Centred Soul call themselves a Profit With Purpose Social Enterprise and there is a wide range of services and facilities on site.

Founder Rosemary Deans enthusiasm for the project is contagious and she relishes the chance to support and provide facilities for other local businesses and enterprises.

Explaining the on-site facilities Deans said "We have the Coffee Dock with coffee from Koffy in Jonesborough and then we have the studio to the side. It offers anything from parent and baby classes, to yoga, to training events for other local community groups. We also offer the likes of perinatal education. Other community groups like Aware, Tiny Life and local adoption groups from the Southern Trust come in too. We also have private businesses who use it as well. On top of that we teach yoga and meditation and there's drum circles, and we recently even had a Rowathon for Newry Rowing Club."

Deans continues "We also have the therapy rooms. One of the therapy rooms is specifically counselling led. We have one counsellor and are currently recruiting another. We have complementary therapies in the second therapy room, and it has reflexology, massage and a specialist massage called Maya which is for digestive issues and fertility treatments.

"We specifically work with women. We have some men coming in but usually it's a partner or somebody that we've known through a woman that usually comes in through the service."

The addition of the coffee dock positioned as it is in the centre of Hill Street in Newry has opened up a whole new crowd with local business people coming in to have an informal meeting in the corner while others come in in their lunch break. There is also a shop with a wide variety of craft products on sale.
