Newry Councillor Liz Kimmins has urged homeowners along the Chancellors Road, Bessbrook to be vigilant after reports of a burglary on a home in Dunbrae Housing Development on Saturday evening, 14 July.
The local Councillor said “A homeowner informed me her Home was burgled on Saturday evening between 4:45pm and 7pm. Seemingly another home in the Camlough Area was robbed in that time period also. A dark coloured car was noticed in the vicinity of both crime scenes. The robberies may be linked”.
Cllr Kimmins has asked homeowners and residents to be extra vigilant and to contact the PSNI on 101” if anything suspicious is noticed.
