For the first time in many years the annual Newry Panto Players pantomime is to be performed in December with Snow White taking to the stage from Saturday 21 to Saturday 28 December. Due to uncertainty over whether Newry Town Hall would be open into the new year it really was a case of do it in December or don't do it at all and with it being the 50th year, the show must certainly go on. It means that many associated with Newry Panto Players will be unselfishly be giving up their Christmas to entertain the folks of Newry and beyond.
Snow White will be performed with over 200 young people and a great cast: Judith Quinn, Handy Andy Damien Lavery, Declan Brady Dame Dilly, Queen M Roisin McKenna, Jordan Walsh Prince, Veronica Devine Mirror & Old Hag, Martin Smyth & Darryl Gallogly as Hairum and Scarum plus of the magnificent 7 Dwarfs to name but a few.
Alongside great singing, musical numbers, their resident ghost, fairy and speciality acts it will make for a great afternoon or evening out for all the family.
