Churches Reopen for Private Prayer

Some Churches in Newry have reopened for private prayer only following their two month closure due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Newry Cathedral is open daily from 9.30am while St Catherine's Dominican is open from 12pm - 6pm Monday to Friday and 2pm to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. Each church has guidelines shown at the entrance as well as hand sanitiser.

Once you enter the church some aisles remain closed.

There are still no indications of when places of worship will once again be allowed to hold services.
