Saturday 1st October will see a Coffee Morning being held in Costa on Mall café in the Buttercrane Shopping Centre in memory of a runner up in the Face of Buttercrane competition in 2015.
Katherine Neill from Banbridge died recently after she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Katherine, a talented young woman and an A-Level scholar, lost her battle against Rhabdomyosarcoma last month.
Buttercrane management had maintained contact with her and as Centre Manager Peter Murray explained: “Her family have set up a fundraising page to raise money for the The Boom Foundation in her memory and we felt it was fitting to support this initiative. Buttercrane will be hosting a coffee event in the Costa on Mall café on Saturday 1st October 10-1pm. Coffee is complimentary to anyone attending the event, with a donation invited for the charity that supports patients with Rhabdomyosarcoma in NI, the Boom Foundation.”
The Buttercrane will also host a live mannequin Fashion event for A/W16 from 2-5pm.
