Newry, Mourne and Down District Council are looking views on how it can identify actions to support Ulster Scots people, culture, and language. It is hoped that the survey will identify key priorities for the future development of Ulster Scots in the district.
Some of the key themes/areas that Council are seeking views on include:
• Development of an Ulster Scots Strategy/Policy/Forum
• Visibility of the Ulster Scots language across the district
• Ulster Scots Financial Assistance funding
• Council promotion of Ulster Scots events
• Support/signposting for Ulster Scots groups
