Write a commentA new defibrillator has been installed at Williamson’s Nisa Local, Rostrevor following a fundraising drive instigated by Rostrevor Golf Society and supported by number of local businesses and the Rostrevor Arts Group.
The Defibrillator is now installed for use and is accessible, 24/7.
The surplus fundraising totalling £1,400 was donated to Life and Time, a new charity being established to deliver extra end of life care at home. Life & Time will provide Palliative care and support to families in the Warrenpoint, Burren and Rostrevor region.
Tony Williamson said: “On behalf of all involved it is encouraging to see the community come together and we are extremely grateful to the Golf Society, the Arts Group and to everyone who supported in any way.“
