Janet and Gordon Gilliand have presented a cheque to the Renal Unit of Daisy Hill Hospital.
£310 was raised when Janet made a tapestry and held a competition to guess how many stitches were used to create it.
Dr John Harty Consultant Nephrologist thanked Mr and Mrs Gilliland for their generous donation.
The Renal Unit at Daisy Hill Hospital treats patients with kidney disease from across the entire Southern Trust area.
The modern unit has 26 haemodialysis stations, 40 machines which are used by 90 patients each week.
The team of specialist nurses, medics, pharmacists, podiatrists, social workers, dieticians and technicians also support patients who have chosen a home therapy treatment and those attending renal outpatient clinics.
