Doran's Hill Appeal

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a road traffic collision on Doran's Hill on last Friday the 29th of August.

Constable Caroline Bell, Newry Response, outlined the details of the incident: "Around 7.41pm on 29 August, we received a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision. A black Peugeot was in collision with a bridge, narrowly missing another vehicle which had to take evasive action. We attended the scene immediately and a short time later arrested two males, aged 20 and 39. The two men were interviewed and released on bail pending further enquiries.

"My enquiries into this incident are continuing and I am keen to speak to a male who was walking his dog along Dornan's Hill around this time and may have witnessed the collision. If you were the man walking the dog, please phone me at Ardmore Police Station, using the 101 non-emergency number."
