The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust are holding a replay of the 1991 All Ireland Final between Down and Meath next Saturday the 9th of November in Pairc Esler at 7pm and win or lose it will be a victory for Down and indeed Newry. When compassion and support are needed our city has shown time and again it is second to none and certainly something we can all be proud of.
The Trust was set up following on from an amazing outpouring of public support following the untimely death of Kevin in New York in June. The Trust aims to help alleviate the financial worries by helping bereaved families return their loved ones remains back to Ireland following their death away from home.
The Management, players and squad members from the 1991 team and many special guests will don the jersey's of Meath and Down once more in what will certainly be a memorable and indeed poignant event giving Kevins love of the sport.
