Election day looms

Newry heads to the Polls tomorrow 2 March, in the Assembly Elections, less than a year since the last visit there.

This year there is the added interest of a seat less in the district, down from six seats at the last election.

Nine candidates will battle it out for the five seats in the new 90 seat Assembly.

Vote in order of preference 1,2, 3 etc. Polling Stations are open from 7am to 10pm.

A Irish, UK or EEA driving licence (photographic part) (provisional accepted)

An Electoral Identity Card

A Translink Blind Person’s SmartPass
