Evora Hospice has launched its annual Coffee Morning Fundraiser, inviting individuals, families, workplaces and community groups in Armagh, Down and Tyrone to take part in support of local hospice care. The event has become one of the Hospice's most important fundraisers, with hundreds of hosts taking part each year.
People can choose to host at home, in their garden, office, school, hairdressers or community venue, with every gathering helping to ensure that patients and families living with a palliative diagnosis receive specialist support, compassionate care, and the opportunity to live well with their condition right through to end of life. Hosting a coffee morning directly contributes to services including inpatient and community care, family support, symptom management and wellbeing programmes.
Evora Fundraising Officer Rachel said: "Coffee mornings are such a lovely way for people to come together and support a cause that means so much to our local community. Every cup poured, cake shared and donation made helps us continue to provide care and support to local people and their families when they need it most. We're so grateful to everyone who takes part and helps make a difference."
