Mournes and Slieve Croob DEA’s recently organised a four week Family Bootcamp with Homestart at Castlewellan Forest Park.
Participants took on a number of mathematical challenges to improve everyday functional maths challenges such as orienteering and counting challenges. Other activities included treasure hunts and a step challenge.
The fun event was funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This is part of a £5.9M Multiply fund being managed by the Department for the Economy NI.
