Tá muintir an Iúir iontach bródúil as an obair fhiúntach atá déanta ag an Athair Peter McVerry SJ i gcaitheamh na mblianta ar son daoine gan dídean.
Le cúpla bliain anuas, tá féilire curtha le chéile ag Éamonn Coyle, grianghrafadóir gairmiúil as Gaoth Dobhair. I mbliana, rinne sé teagmháil le beirt iarscoláirí ó Scoil na Mainistreach, Réamonn Ó Ciaráin agus Darren Mag Aoidh, a chuidigh leis an téacs a scríobh agus a phrofáil faoi seach. Tá an féilire ar díol anois sa Ghaeláras ar £11.00 (nó € 12.75) an ceann. Bronnfar na brabúis ar fad ó na féilirí ar Iontaobhas Peter McVerry. Tá na féilirí ar fáil sa Ghaeláras ó Darren nó ó Shéamus.

The people of Newry are rightly proud of the huge work Fr Peter McVerry SJ has carried out for the homeless over many years.
Éamonn Coyle has compiled a calendar – entirely in Irish – this past few years. He contacted two former Abbey CBS students – Réamonn Ó Ciaráin (Director of Education, Gael Linn) and Darren Mag Aoidh (freelance translator) to help out voluntarily with writing and proofing the text, respectively. The calendar is on sale at the Gaeláras for £11.00 (or € 12.75).
The proceeds from the sale of the calendars will be donated to the Peter McVerry Trust. For further information go to: EAMONNCOYLE.COM/CALENDARS
