Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Councillor Aoife Finnegan has welcomed news that works to resurface the Dundalk Road, Newtownhamilton have begun. Stretches of road around Newtownhamilton have been plagued by potholes for many months.
Cllr Finnegan said “Resurfacing works have now begun on the Dundalk road, outside of Newtownhamilton.
“This road has been in a poor state for some time and after much lobbying by Sinn Féin, it’s great to see these works beginning.
“The works will no doubt come as a great relief to local residents and all who travel on this road on a regular basis.
“Sinn Féin is determined to improve road safety and quality for all across South Armagh.”
