Police are appealing for information following a reported incident of arson at a business yard at Chancellors Road, Newry in the early hours of yesterday morning, Saturday, May 17 which saw five vehicles set on fire.
Sergeant Cushley said: “It was reported at around 3.00am that five vehicles parked in the Chancellors Road area of Newry had been set on fire. Our colleagues from the NIFRS attended and extinguished the fires.
“Four vehicles have been completely destroyed as a result with a fifth vehicle partially damaged, which has been determined as deliberate."
Police are appealing to anyone who might have been in the area around 2.50 am on Saturday morning with dashcam or other footage.
