Southern Area Hospice Services are holding their first ever ‘Make a Will Month’ this month.
It's taking place from the start of the month right through to 31 October. During this time solicitor firms across the Southern Trust are donating their time to write Wills for people in the community in return for a donation to Hospice. This campaign will give everyone the opportunity to have a basic Will either written or updated for FREE in return for a donation to Hospice (with participating solicitors).
In Newry DND Law Ltd, Downshire Road Telephone: 028 3026 4611 and Luke Curran & Co, Hill Street Telephone: 028 3026 7134 are taking part in the initiative.
Having an up-to-date Will gives you peace of mind that your wishes will be carried out as you choose and ensures that your family and friends and the causes you care about are looked after.
Denise Doyle, Legacy Officer at Southern Area Hospice commented ‘We are delighted to be partnering with solicitors across the Southern Trust area to enable our supporters to write their Wills for free, in return for a donation to the Hospice. We would like to thank all the firms who have come on board and waiving their fee to support this campaign. ‘Make a Will Month’ is the ideal opportunity to get your affairs in order and protect your loved ones. After you look after your family you can help us be there for future generations by leaving a gift to the Hospice in your Will. There is no obligation to do so, however leaving a legacy donation means we can continue to support patients and their families when they need us in the future and is something we ask people to consider doing when writing their Will”.
Southern Area Hospice Services care for patients and their families living primarily in the Southern Trust area, offering specialist palliative and end of life care. The main aim of the Hospice is to help patients who have received a palliative diagnosis live well with their condition.
