As part of an incredibly caring community campaign in Newry and surrounds to help raise money for the repatriation of the remain of Kevin Bell from New York after his tragic death at the weekend, several more events have been scheduled on top of the quiz tonight Tuesday in the Canal Court, the fun run on Thursday night from Greenbank.
Killeavy GAC will be hosting a fundraising night in Killeavy Youth Club on Saturday 29th June doors open 7.30pm with a £10 admission fee,
Kevin's friends from Scor, Rooney/O Malley School, "Jigs n Reels" crew, South Armagh comhaltas group plus friends and guests will put on a show to do Kevin proud, tickets out asap, Contact Sinead Reel, Kevin Mc Ardle, Carmel Mallon, Aveen Dooley, Adele Garvey, Sharon Reel, Eamonn O Malley, Philomena Carroll or any club member for tickets!
Local Photographers Ann-Marie McAleenan and Peter Clarke have this Sunday the 23rd of June decided to join forces and offer friends and family a one day offer of a family portrait for £25.00 wiith every penny going to the fund. So gather up your family, whatever age they are and help them raise as much money as possible. It's from 10am to 5pm!
On Friday 21st Belinnis are hosting a Charity Big Breakfast on behalf of Newry Mitchels for the Kevin Bell Repatriation so call in between 8 and 11am for a bite to eat and give a donation if you can.
Newry Triathlon Club are organising a Night Swim in aid of the fund on Friday the 28th of June at 10.30pm in Camlough Lake.

After consultation with the Bell Family, the team at Bosco for Africa have decided to go ahead with their fundraising concert on Friday 21 June.
However, the team strongly felt that the concert could and would not go on without splitting the proceeds equally between the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund and the Africa project.
Never has the expression "charity begins at home" been more relevant. The concert, starring West End performer, Peter Corry, will be held in the Bell family's honour and in honour of Kevin's love of music and craic.
The concert will take place on Friday 21st June at 7.30pm in Newry Town Hall and tickets are available from Carlin Records and by calling 07732 277639 or 07708 781531.
