A fundraising leisure cycle/ walk is being organise this Sunday 24 April 2022 in memory of Paul Braham, the founder of Warrenpoint Company, Braham Electrical who died in September last year.
The event is being organised by his family and work colleagues in conjunction with Newry Lions Club and you can take part in either the walk or the cycle.
Paul Braham was a Past President of Newry Lions and in his time at the Charity he raised thousands for local and international charities.
There is no need to register for the event, just turn up on the day at the entrance to the Carlingford Lough Greenway at the Albert Basin in Newry.

The Leisure Cycle sets of at 9am and cyclists will travel from the Albert Basin Newry to Carlingford and back.
If you want a shorter challenge the Leisure Walk will set off at 10am, travelling from the Albert Basin to Victoria Locks and back (or arrange to get a lift back!) approximately 5km each way.
The fundraiser is in aid of Cancer Research UK & N.Ireland and it has already raised over £2,800!
A family member said "Paul was a hard working and dedicated individual who founded Braham Electrical over 49 years ago. Those who knew Paul personally would have known he had family and community spirit in abundance and supported every local event going.
"In Pauls memory, we would be so grateful for any donations to our fundraiser, as would Cancer Research UK, the worlds leading charity dedicated to research on the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. Thanks to research, more people are surviving cancer than ever before.
"The memorial day is something for everyone to get involved with, so bring along the kids, friends and anyone else that may want to get involved, the Braham family would appreciate it."
If you can't make it on the day or want to donate online you can do so at fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org
