Travel and Property Celeb Martin Roberts Opens Show
Recently released from the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! jungle in Australia, travel and property expert Martin Roberts is heading to Belfast to open the twenty-fifth Belfast Telegraph Holiday World Show.
At 1pm on Friday, January 20, at Titanic Exhibition Centre he’ll cut the ribbon to launch what promises to be a sparking silver anniversary celebration of all things travel-related.
The popular celeb will be packing a double whammy of expertise. As well as fronting the BBC1 ‘Homes Under The Hammer’ programme for almost 14 years, he has long been a respected travel journalist and author. He was a regular presenter on ITV’s top rated travel show ‘Wish You Were Here..?’ for eight years and the travel editor of ‘Woman’ magazine for 15 years. He also writes a column for Practical Caravan magazine and has presented the CNN Travel News programme. His newest project is a weekly property show on TalkRadio, which he broadcasts from a Treehouse in his back garden in Bath.
Clearly, he’s just the man to consult about holidays and holiday properties!

He’s famous for his romantic dress sense and gorgeously lavish interiors, but now Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is extending his unique sense of style to travel, designing a glamorous range of weddings for Beachcomber Tours.
The celebrated designer will be jetting into Belfast on Saturday 21 January to represent Beachcomber at the Clubworld Travel’s Honeymoon & Wedding Destinations Pavilion at the Holiday World Show, providing showgoers with a unique insight into planning the perfect romantic tryst amidst Beachcomber’s legendary luxury.
It’s a role perfectly suited to Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and his wife Jackie who, as a professional Wedding Organiser, is the author of ‘Debrett’s Wedding Guide – The Planning & Etiquette Of A Modern Wedding’
The pair fell in love with The Beachcomber Hotels and Mauritius on a family holiday and were so inspired that they renewed their vows to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in 2009 at Dinarobin. Belfast Telegraph Holiday World will be staged at Titanic Exhibition Centre on Queen’s Road in Titanic Quarter, close to Titanic Belfast and just opposite the Titanic Studios where the global hit fantasy series Game of Thrones is filmed.
Holiday World will be open from 1pm – 6pm on Friday 20 January and from 11am – 5:30pm on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 January. Admission is £5 for adults; £4 for Senior Citizens and £3 for Students. A special family ticket gives admission for two adults and up to four children for £10.
