Write a commentPolice officers from Newtownhamilton, with colleagues from the PSNI College, recently met with Year 8 pupils from four local secondary schools for a presentation on hate crime.
Newry High School, St Paul’s High School, Bessbrook, St Joseph’s High School, Crossmaglen and Newtownhamilton High School all took part.
The workshop focused on dealing with prejudice, racism and sectarianism. Police delivered a presentation on hate crime followed by a discussion with the students.
