A Social Enterprise initiative run by Newry based charity Head Injury Support has launched a new online shop.
Their Social Enterprise 'Living in Colour' launched an online shop to compliment their existing store front in Kildare Street, Newry. Now bigger and better than ever, they offer handmade jewellery, pebble art and cards for all occasions. All of which features beautiful artwork crafted by survivors of acquired brain injury.
Head Injury Support is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals, carers and families affected by ABI. Over the last 10 years they have experienced significant growth and now operate a dedicated ABI community hub, art workshop, a weekly outreach programme in Armagh and Craigavon.
Every 90 seconds someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with acquired brain injury (ABI). This could be from stroke, trauma and other causes including brain tumours and infections.
