Write a commentGates and fencing have been erected at the rear of Hillside Terrace and Hillside Court and Newry city councillor Liz Kimmins has welcomed the development.
Cllr Kimmins explained “I have been working with the local residents of Hillside Terrace and Hillside Court to address safety issues and anti-social behaviour and I am delighted that Choice Housing Association have erected gates and fencing to protect the rear of these houses”.
Continuing the Newry city representative added “Over the last number of months residents have reported on-going problems with people gathering at the back of their homes, which has been impacting on their quality of life. Choice have acted quickly in dealing with this and residents are very pleased with the result.
The Councillor also welcomed the an agreement by the Department of Infrastructure to implement a Yellow Box procedure at Doran’s Hill.
