Home Start Newry and Mourne is a family support charity operating in the Newry and Mourne area for over 20 years. Parenting is hard and Home Start is there for families when they need us the most.
Home Start is constantly looking out for volunteers to assist them so if you can help, contact them at the numbers below.
Everyone's parenting journey is different and other factors such as having a child with a disability, multiple births, or lone parenting can make those early years even more challenging.
By offering parent-parent support Home Start hopes to offer reassurance to families on their journey . We do this through the support of valued volunteers, this can look as simple as going for a walk with a family or reading stories to the children.
