Hospice Chaplain's Skydive raises over £8k

Rev Matthew Hagan takes to the sky for Southern Area Hospice.

A sponsored skydive for Southern Area Hospice by Hospice Chaplain, Rev Matthew Hagan has raised an incredible £8360.10 for the Newry based charity.

Rev Matthew Hagan is pictured at the Southern Area Hospice presenting his cheque to Fundraising Officer James McCaffrey.

Matthew, who is a well-known Church of Ireland Rector outside Armagh, has provided care and support to many patients and their families since he became a Chaplain in the Hospice almost 13 years ago.

Thanking everyone who supported the fundraiser James McCaffrey, SAHS Fundraising Officer said “Matthew has gone over and above in his fundraising efforts this year once again and we are truly thankful for this. I wish to extend those thanks to everyone who supported Matthew on his Skydive Challenge!” Well done Matthew.”
