Have you got what it takes to be the next Matt Cardle, Rebecca Ferguson or Cher Lloyd, if so, get yourself down to the Canal Court Hotel on Sunday 5th June at 1pm and audition for the Hospice X Factor.
After its success in 2009 the Southern Area Hospice has decided to bring the X Factor back with three regional auditions and a Semi Final and Final Show. Auditions are also taking place in Dungannon Leisure Centre on Sunday 22nd May and in the Armagh City Hotel on Sunday 29th May. Judging the competition will be our panellist of experienced judges including Declan Legge, Music Producer from Big Space Studios, Roisin Magee local singing teacher and Star of RTE Show ‘Fame: The Musical’ and Shane McBreen Chairman of Media Ireland and founder of Iur FM and Catherine Grimley, local singer and All Ireland Finalist. All our judges are from various backgrounds in the business and have a vast experience in the music industry, so they will have no problems “dishing out the dirt” and giving constructive criticism in line with Simon Cowell and his team.
The lucky winner of the competition will spend two days in Big Space Studios www.bigspacestudios.co.uk to record their winning song and also compose their own song with well known music producer Declan Legge, and then have the opportunity to sell their CD in aid of SAHS, as well as receiving £500 cash prize. There will also be cash prizes of £250 for second place and £100 for third place.
Registration is £10 on the day or alternatively you can pre-register on our website at www.southernareahospiceservices.org. or contact Fundraising on 02830251333. Registration will be open from 1pm on Sunday 5th June in the Canal Court Hotel and shall run until 6pm, so come along and give us a song and be in for the chance to record your own CD and win £500. The competition is open to anyone aged 16 or above.
